While your main focus for this role is Rust and complex interactions with different components, you will most likely also be involved in infrastructure (e.g. k8s) and writing scripts and supporting projects in other languages (e.g. Go). We believe that working at every level of the stack is necessary to understand the big picture and how all the things are wired together.

What You'll Bring:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, coupled with practical experience in blockchain systems.
• At least three years of experience in distributed systems, with a deep technical understanding of L1 and L2 architectural architectures.
• Strong proficiency in one out of the following programming languages, such as Rust, C, C++ and Go — strongly emphasising writing performant and secure code.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable distributed systems.
• An analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate and mitigate emerging security threats, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of the blockchain landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active open-source contributions in core protocol engineering (such as Firedancer, Reth, Lighthouse, Geth, …).
• Direct involvement in the Solana ecosystem, with contributions to Solana's runtime, scheduler, or other core systems.
• Active engagement with the blockchain security research community, evidenced by contributions to open-source projects, publications, or presentations at notable conferences.

Technical Project Manager – SAP Migration Specialist (OUTSIDE IR35)

Contract Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension or transition to another project.

Location: Remote (Approximately 1 day per month required on client site)

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with specific experience in SAP project management, particularly in running a migration from ECC 6 to S4. This role is a critical part of our project delivery team, working on a high-profile migration project within the defence sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management Services: You will be responsible for the oversight of a portfolio of projects. However, for this engagement, your focus will be on successfully managing the migration from ECC 6 to S4.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly report project status to various stakeholders and provide updates to different programme boards depending on the project requirements.
• Delivery Assurance: Ensure the successful delivery of the project in line with agreed cost, quality, scope, and schedule parameters.
• Budget and Process Management: Facilitate project budget management and manage gate processes as required to ensure the smooth progression and completion of the project.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in managing SAP projects, specifically with a focus on migrations from ECC 6 to S4.
• Proven track record of managing projects within the parameters of cost, quality, scope, and schedule.
• Experience in project status reporting and stakeholder management.
• Competency in budget management and understanding of gate process management.
• Ability to work remotely with monthly visits to the client site.
