Developer Relations Specialist

We are hiring a Developer Relations (DevRel) Specialist to help build and engage a thriving developer community for an innovative Layer 2 blockchain solution. This role is a unique opportunity to connect with developers, foster adoption of cutting-edge scaling technology, and act as a bridge between the developer ecosystem and the product team.

What You’ll Do

• Developer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with developers, both within and outside of the community. Serve as a key contact for technical support and inquiries.
• Community Building: Design and execute initiatives to grow and strengthen the developer community. Organize events such as meetups, webinars, workshops, and hackathons to drive collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
• Education and Resources: Create and manage detailed technical documentation, tutorials, and developer resources to streamline integration and usage of our technology. Deliver educational content across multiple platforms.
• Feedback Advocacy: Act as a voice for developers by gathering feedback and sharing it with the product and engineering teams to shape ongoing improvements and priorities.
• Technical Guidance: Stay updated on blockchain advancements, particularly within the Ethereum ecosystem, and provide technical support and insights to developers.
• Community Advocacy: Represent and promote the organization’s technology at industry events and within the developer community to drive adoption and awareness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment between developer initiatives and organizational objectives.
• Metrics and Optimization: Track, analyze, and report on developer engagement metrics to measure the success of initiatives and refine strategies.

Who You Are

• Demonstrated experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or similar roles in the tech sector, ideally within blockchain or crypto industries.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, particularly Ethereum and Layer 2 scaling solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to audiences of varying expertise.
• Proven experience in fostering developer communities and organizing community-driven initiatives.
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with open-source software development practices is an advantage.
