The client had a number of agencies on their PSL and all going after the same talent for their open tech roles. This led to a saturated market and the client not being presented in the right way.
Agency briefings became very generic, less personable and difficult for the hiring managers to be directly involved with agencies.
We advised the client that they would be best placed to reduce the number of agencies and work with a select few, to allow for less competition. This meant the agencies would be able to thoroughly search for talent, rather than it becoming a race to get them.
Following the reduction we worked closely with the client, represented their business well and successfully placed all positions over the other 5 agencies.
We also won a pitch to work exclusively on a Senior hire to which we had shortlisted 9 CVโs, sent 5, had 4 go to interview and placed the candidate within 9 weeks from receiving the job spec to the candidate starting.
Due to the success we had with their needs, and the excellent service we provided, we are now partnering with them exclusively to work across all of their tech recruitment.
They now have a more streamlined recruitment process with enhanced collaboration between hiring managers and agencies, leading to a higher quality of candidate.
