Senior Software Engineer (Rust)
Global – Remote
We're hiring on behalf of an innovative and fast-growing organisation operating at the intersection of AI, blockchain, and decentralized finance. This is an opportunity to join a technically elite team working on the next evolution of blockchain infrastructure—building advanced cross-chain systems with a focus on automation, scalability, and seamless interoperability.
This team is known for pushing the boundaries of smart contract development and intelligent transaction layers across multiple blockchain ecosystems. If you're a seasoned Rust developer with a deep understanding of blockchain architecture and a passion for cutting-edge technology, we want to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
- Expertise in Rust – Demonstrated experience building and maintaining robust systems using Rust.
- Strong software design and architecture skills – Ability to create scalable, maintainable codebases.
- Background in message-based and event-sourced systems – Practical understanding of asynchronous and distributed architecture.
- Smart contract development experience – Ideally with mainnet-level deployments.
- Prior experience in blockchain infrastructure (Layer 1 preferred).
- High level of autonomy and ownership – You take full responsibility for your work and contribute meaningfully to shared goals.
- Commitment to clean, professional code – You care about quality and precision.
- Willingness to support and refactor existing systems – Not just chasing greenfield work.
Bonus Points For
- Hands-on experience with NEAR ecosystem tools or nearcore codebases.
- Exposure to security-sensitive coding practices, especially within decentralized applications.
- Familiarity with the EVM / web3 tech stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve mission-critical Rust-based services within a high-performance blockchain environment.
- Prototype and test bleeding-edge technologies in the blockchain and DeFi space.
- Contribute to the architectural design and code review processes across the wider engineering team.
- Participate in open-source project governance and contribute to relevant blockchain ecosystems.
- Collaborate effectively with a fully remote, distributed engineering team.
- Actively engage with cross-chain interoperability initiatives and contribute to community discussions, particularly in Ethereum-aligned ecosystems.
This is a fully remote role with a globally distributed team. If you're excited to solve complex problems and play a key role in shaping blockchain infrastructure, apply now to explore this opportunity further.
Let us introduce you to a role where your Rust and blockchain expertise can truly make an impact.
