We're currently hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure) on behalf of an innovative company at the forefront of cross-chain technologies and decentralized finance. This is a unique opportunity to work within a high-performing, collaborative team that’s shaping the infrastructure for intelligent autonomous systems and next-gen blockchain applications.
About the Role
We're looking for a web3-native Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in building high-performance infrastructure systems. This is a hands-on engineering role with a roughly 60/40 split between software development and site reliability responsibilities.
You’ll play a critical role in the development of secure, low-latency infrastructure powering a cross-chain decentralized exchange platform. This includes working with multi-party computation, secure enclaves, chain signatures, and intent-based architecture. The project’s aim is to unify experiences across EVM and non-EVM ecosystems — so strong experience across diverse blockchain technologies is essential.
You’ll collaborate closely with protocol teams and technical partners to ensure infrastructure is both fast and resilient for real-time autonomous agent operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the platform that powers autonomous agents for financial operations.
- Optimise system performance for real-time interactions between users and agents.
- Implement deep observability, tracing, and monitoring of data flows.
- Deliver SDKs and reference tools for external developer integration.
- Design and test robust state machines for managing RFQ workflows.
- Ensure high system availability through cloud-native infrastructure.
About You
You're a seasoned engineer who enjoys tackling complex systems and building elegant, high-performance solutions. You have experience in distributed systems engineering, with a solid grasp of blockchain concepts and a focus on quality and reliability.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience with TypeScript and Go for backend systems development.
- Proven background in distributed systems engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to performance optimisation.
- Strong communication skills, including fluency in English.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
- Familiarity with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Solid grasp of algorithms and computational performance optimisation.
- Strong debugging skills within distributed architectures.
