Senior Accountant (Crypto)

We are hiring on behalf of a fast-growing, private company operating at the intersection of technology, energy, and digital assets. The organisation delivers a comprehensive suite of software, hardware, and financial solutions to a broad base of clients, including large-scale data centre operators in the cryptocurrency mining sector.

With operations supporting a substantial volume of machines across multiple jurisdictions, the company is expanding its accounting function to support continued growth and upcoming financial audits. This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates located within the Americas time zone.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA qualification
• Minimum 2 years' experience at a Big 4 accounting firm
• Strong understanding of GAAP and audit processes
• U.S. financial reporting experience
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python (preferred)
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency wallets and blockchain transactions
• Experience managing accounting across multiple legal entities in different jurisdictions

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports for both internal stakeholders and external partners
• Perform general ledger accounting and financial analysis
• Support monthly close processes and balance sheet reconciliations
• Help define and enforce proper accounting policies and procedures
• Assist in developing financial processes aligned with new business initiatives
• Recommend improvements to existing systems and accounting workflows
• Be comfortable handling a broad range of finance and operations tasks
