We’re partnering with a cutting-edge Layer 1 blockchain project that’s laying the foundation for decentralized data accessibility in the Web3 ecosystem. The company is building a dynamic environment where developers and innovators can harness high-quality real-world data to power decentralized applications.
They’re looking for a Security Engineer to enhance the integrity of their smart contract systems and core blockchain protocols. This is a key role focused on proactive threat mitigation, security tooling, and incident response. If you have experience in smart contract auditing, EVM-based chains, and thrive on tackling advanced security challenges, this could be the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead in-depth security reviews and audits of smart contracts and core protocol components, delivering clear and actionable audit reports.
- Design and implement automated tools to scan, monitor, and assess smart contracts for vulnerabilities.
- Detect risks in deployed contracts and issue timely security alerts.
- Create and manage efficient incident response workflows.
- Perform detailed root cause analyses of blockchain exploits and breaches.
- Stay ahead of emerging smart contract vulnerabilities and develop early detection strategies.
- Conduct threat modelling and security evaluations for blockchain architectures.
- Contribute to the development of internal security frameworks, tooling, and best practices.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate secure development practices.
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a security-first culture.
- Conduct penetration testing across smart contract and blockchain components.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with Solidity and EVM environments.
- Strong skills in at least one of: Go, Python, or TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of smart contract vulnerabilities, simulation tools, and exploit patterns.
- Experience using blockchain explorers and building scripts to monitor or analyze on-chain data.
- Familiarity with Solidity libraries and associated security risks.
- Experience with smart contract testing frameworks and transaction analysis.
- Ability to identify vulnerabilities at multiple levels: low-level code, transactions, and protocol logic.
- 3+ years of smart contract auditing experience, with a proven track record of leading reviews of complex blockchain protocols.
