We are partnering with a fast-growing fintech organisation expanding its digital banking capabilities. As part of this growth, they are hiring an experienced Product Manager to own a key virtual banking product area, focused on scalable, API-driven financial solutions.
The Role
As Product Manager – Virtual Banking, you will shape and deliver a core product domain, overseeing the full lifecycle from discovery through launch and continuous improvement.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Risk & Compliance, and commercial stakeholders to deliver robust, customer-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and execution within a virtual banking domain
- Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements (workflows, APIs, user journeys)
- Drive roadmap planning and prioritisation, focusing on high-impact initiatives
- Ensure operational readiness (controls, exception management, audit considerations)
- Define and track performance metrics to guide product decisions
- Communicate effectively through documentation, updates, and structured decision-making
About You
We’re looking for a product professional with strong fintech or payments experience and a track record of delivering platform-based products.
Requirements
- ~7+ years of product management experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial infrastructure
- Experience with API-driven or platform products in close collaboration with engineering teams
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
- Structured, analytical mindset with a focus on execution and measurable outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex trade-offs
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
Desirable Knowledge
- Virtual accounts and account lifecycle management
- End-to-end payment flows (initiation to settlement and reconciliation)
- Payment rails and messaging concepts
- Regulatory frameworks (KYC/KYB, AML)
- Risk frameworks, controls, and audit processes
- Reconciliation and reporting requirements
- Experience working with external partners (banks, financial service providers)
