We’re partnering with an innovative organisation in the blockchain space that’s looking for a Network Engineer to support and enhance their validator infrastructure. In this role, you’ll play a hands-on part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of a distributed blockchain network. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and core contributors to plan network updates, manage tooling and environments, and drive critical infrastructure improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of network updates to maintain performance and stability across a distributed validator network.
- Build and maintain testing environments to ensure smooth deployment of network upgrades and related components.
- Design and execute tests to evaluate network health and performance.
- Maintain and update components connected to the core network (e.g., libraries, command-line tools, and related systems).
- Communicate changes and updates effectively to internal teams, providing clear documentation and migration strategies.
- Identify opportunities to optimise network performance and support the achievement of technical KPIs.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Strong programming skills in Go (Golang).
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Solidity, Python, or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of networking principles and communication protocols.
- Experience with modern testing methodologies and best practices.
- Basic familiarity with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) concepts.
- Understanding of blockchain technologies and smart contracts, with the ability to interpret blockchain explorer data or write scripts to monitor network activity.
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure development.
This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about decentralised technologies and eager to work on the backbone infrastructure of a leading blockchain platform.
