We are seeking a passionate and strategic Head of Community to lead the development of an inclusive and vibrant ecosystem for a range of blockchain products. In this role, you will create a dynamic space for developers, users, and enthusiasts to connect, collaborate, and contribute to the future of Ethereum scaling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit key opinion leaders (KOLs) and institutional KOLs within your region, assessing their reach, influence, engagement, and alignment with the organisationโ€™s values and objectives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive community engagement strategy across multiple platforms (e.g., Twitter, Discord).
  • Build a strong personal brand as a thought leader in the Web3 and blockchain space.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive online environment for the global community.
  • Facilitate meaningful discussions, respond to community inquiries, and deliver excellent support to community members.
  • Organise engaging online and offline events (e.g., AMAs, hackathons, meetups) to drive community growth and excitement.
  • Identify, engage, and empower community leaders and influencers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Developer Relations) to align communication and community strategies.
  • Monitor community sentiment and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in community management and online engagement.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in community engagement, with a minimum of 3 years in the Web3 space.
  • Proven success in leading and managing online communities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Web3, the developer/user ecosystem, and blockchain technologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with community members.
  • Experience participating in Ethereum or similar blockchain ecosystems is a strong advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building rapport and fostering connections.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a positive, productive online community environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives.
  • Familiarity with community management tools and platforms (e.g., Discord, social media analytics tools).
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse and act on community engagement metrics.
