Finance Manager

We're hiring a proactive and hands-on Finance Manager to join one of our high-growth clients in the crypto-finance space. This position reports to the Head of Finance and plays a key role in scaling financial operations, implementing robust systems, and ensuring strong financial controls in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment.

This role is ideal for a qualified finance professional who is comfortable bridging traditional financial operations with the unique challenges of digital assets and decentralised finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Transition all core accounting and reporting functions from outsourced providers to internal processes
• Lead the month-end close and oversee timely production of management accounts and financial reports
• Manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements across multiple international entities
• Build and implement finance policies, control frameworks, and documentation processes
• Develop and maintain core financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, tax, and year-end processes
• Evaluate, implement, and optimise financial systems and tools to support scalability
• Coordinate external tax, audit, and regulatory compliance efforts across jurisdictions
• Stay current with developments in crypto-related accounting and provide actionable insights to leadership

Your Profile

We're looking for someone who thrives in a high-growth, early-stage environment and enjoys being part of a build phase:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Strong grounding in technical accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with US GAAP and/or crypto/digital asset accounting is advantageous but not required
• Prior experience managing and configuring finance systems end-to-end (QuickBooks experience a plus)
• Background in startups, FinTech, SaaS, or other high-growth businesses
• Exposure to international accounting and transfer pricing issues is a plus
• Comfortable working closely with leadership and contributing strategically
• Proactive and commercially-minded with a bias toward action
• Demonstrated experience building processes, teams, and systems from scratch
