Due to continued growth within the defense and intelligence sector, we are seeking a Director of Capacity Building to drive strategic expansion and deepen relationships across public and private sector markets.

The Opportunity
This is a high-impact leadership role within a mission-driven environment focused on strengthening investigative and asset recovery capabilities across federal, state, and select commercial sectors.
The Director of Capacity Building will lead business development initiatives, secure new partnerships, and expand existing accounts. This individual will serve as a strategic liaison between clients and internal technical teams, ensuring solutions are aligned with operational requirements while contributing to overall company growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies within defense, intelligence, and related government markets.
- Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach, established networks, and industry engagement.
- Deliver compelling product briefings and demonstrations showcasing investigative and digital asset recovery capabilities.
- Lead contract negotiations and close opportunities in alignment with organizational objectives.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across government and commercial sectors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Solution Development
- Assess client operational challenges and mission requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to craft tailored capability solutions.
- Align offerings with regulatory, procurement, and security considerations.
RFI/RFP Leadership
- Direct the preparation and submission of RFIs, RFPs, and other formal proposals.
- Ensure submissions are compliant, competitive, and strategically positioned.
Program & Project Oversight
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and implementation.
- Monitor contract performance, milestones, and client expectations.
Strategic Contribution
- Provide market intelligence on emerging trends in digital asset investigations, blockchain analytics, and national security technology.
- Support long-term business planning and sector expansion initiatives.
Industry Representation
- Represent the organization at conferences, trade events, and industry forums.
- Strengthen brand credibility within defense, intelligence, and law enforcement communities.
Training & Enablement
- Support client onboarding and operational enablement.
- Contribute to the development of structured training or certification programs where applicable.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in business development within government and/or highly regulated commercial environments.
- Experience navigating government procurement processes and complex sales cycles.
- Strong track record of contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Background in consulting, business analysis, or strategic program management preferred.
- Experience managing contracts through full lifecycle delivery.
- Ability to interpret and align solutions with federal regulations and mission-driven objectives.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver compelling proposals and RFI/RFP responses.
- Established network within defense, intelligence, or adjacent federal markets is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements, conferences, and strategic meetings as required.
