About the Role
We are hiring a Communications Manager on behalf of a fast-growing fintech company operating at the cutting edge of digital assets and decentralized finance (DeFi). The business is building a platform that combines self-custodial technology with compliance-ready infrastructure, helping users access premium tokenized investment strategies with ease and confidence.
With rapid user growth and backing from notable institutional investors, the company is now looking for a strategic communications professional to shape its external voice. This position plays a pivotal role in driving public relations, content strategy, and social media communications, while collaborating closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead External Communications: Manage the relationship with the company’s PR agency, overseeing press strategy, content approvals, and coordination for announcements, launches, and key media moments.
- Media & Influencer Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, thought leaders, and strategic partners in relevant sectors.
- Strategic Messaging: Create and implement communication frameworks for fundraises, new product releases, strategic updates, and potential crisis scenarios.
- Content Oversight: Guide content development and manage social media channels (primarily X/Twitter and LinkedIn) to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging.
- Email & Newsletters: Draft, edit, and manage regular email updates, monthly newsletters, and other outbound campaigns.
- Marketing Partnerships: Proactively identify and engage with potential marketing collaborators across fintech, crypto, and adjacent verticals.
- Event Support: Coordinate logistics for community rewards, branded merchandise, and marketing collateral at offline events.
- Editorial Standards: Ensure all external-facing communications maintain a high bar for clarity, grammar, tone, and brand alignment.
Who We’re Looking For
- A proactive and articulate communicator with 4+ years of experience in communications, PR, or content marketing—preferably within finance, fintech, crypto, or a relevant agency environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing media relationships and working across multiple communication channels.
- Able to tailor tone and format to suit both institutional and retail audiences, particularly within the fintech or crypto landscape.
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience working with crypto, DeFi, or fintech products.
- Experience managing PR or content agencies and working directly with media.
- Strong writing background across newsletters, website copy, or social channels.
- Familiarity with Web3, blockchain, or financial infrastructure is a plus.
