The Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Japan, South Korea, and Malaysia. This role will be key to building and managing strategic partnerships, focusing on Introducing Brokers (IBs) and institutional clients. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s presence in the Asian market, delivering exceptional business development strategies, and ensuring strong partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the FX and CFD markets across Japan, South Korea, and Malaysia through comprehensive market analysis, lead generation, and networking
  • Establish and manage relationships with Introducing Brokers (IBs), affiliates, and institutional partners in these regions
  • Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients and partners to ensure high satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth
  • Drive client acquisition through targeted outreach, presentations, and strategic relationship building
  • Provide timely, professional responses to client inquiries, maintaining superior customer service standards
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and client support teams to deliver tailored solutions to partners
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activity in Japan, South Korea, and Malaysia to identify strategic opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed monthly business development targets and KPIs

Success Indicators

  • Regional Expansion: Effective penetration and growth in key markets of Japan, South Korea, and Malaysia, developing a strong pipeline of quality partners
  • Partnership Portfolio Growth: Establishment and management of a productive network of IBs and institutional partners that contribute significantly to revenue
  • Client Retention & Satisfaction: Demonstrated ability to maintain high partner satisfaction, retention, and engagement through proactive relationship management

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the FX or CFD sector
  • A solid track record of achieving sales targets and building successful partner portfolios

Skills & Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of FX/CFD markets, platforms, and brokerage operations
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales management tools
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and leverage market opportunities in Japan, South Korea, and Malaysia

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Independent, self-driven, and highly organized, with a keen ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
