Automation QA

We’re recruiting on behalf of a European fintech company operating across payments and crypto purchase/sale solutions. They’re looking for a QA Engineer who can help build their automation capability largely from scratch, while still being comfortable with manual and exploratory testing when needed.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in improving product quality, test coverage, and release confidence across the platform. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working in a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain automation tests, primarily using Python
• Integrate automated test coverage into CI/CD pipelines
• Partner with developers to improve testability and prevent regressions
• Help define and evolve QA strategy, including risk-based testing and release confidence
• Support exploratory and manual testing when required

Requirements

• 3–5 years of automation testing experience
• Strong Python skills, or willingness to quickly adopt Python
• Experience with tools such as Selenium, Pytest, or Playwright
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or other CI tooling
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Native-level English communication skills
• Located within CET ±2 hours

• Experience testing payments or fintech products, including webhooks, async flows, and reconciliation
• Experience building testing frameworks, test data strategies, or environment tooling
