APAC BD Lead
We're hiring a Business Development Lead to drive capital attraction and revenue growth across the Asia-Pacific region for a fast-scaling DeFi infrastructure platform. This platform is innovating across restaking, liquid staking, and tokenized yield solutions—playing a critical role in the future of decentralized finance.
As BD Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in forging strategic relationships with institutional investors and key partners, particularly in emerging markets. You'll be responsible for advancing the platform’s market footprint, revenue growth, and total value locked (TVL), working in tandem with sales and product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the platform and associated DeFi products to institutional audiences including ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, venture capital firms, and hedge funds across the APAC region.
- Design tailored product solutions to support high-conversion sales pipelines.
- Own and deliver on APAC revenue and TVL growth targets.
- Collaborate with the sales development team to enhance lead generation through strategic networks and industry relationships.
- Build and nurture long-term partnerships with funds, investors, and ecosystem collaborators.
- Actively participate in industry conferences and regional events to position the platform as a market leader and expand business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to provide input into commercial and go-to-market strategy.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in business development or capital markets, with at least 3 years of experience in crypto or Web3.
- Strong grasp of both decentralized and traditional finance concepts and products.
- A well-established institutional network in the APAC region, with a proven track record of raising capital and closing high-impact partnerships.
- Demonstrated success in working with DeFi or crypto infrastructure platforms is highly desirable.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
