The Role
As the Analytics Engineer, you’ll be a key player in the data infrastructure and insights engine that drives strategic decisions across the business. You’ll take ownership of the company’s Snowflake environment, build and manage data pipelines, and design powerful dashboards for leadership teams.
This is a hands-on position combining elements of data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence – ideal for someone who wants to make a measurable impact in a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Data Warehouse Architecture & Management
- Own the design and optimisation of a Snowflake data warehouse
- Implement a structured Bronze → Silver → Gold architecture
- Write advanced SQL to clean, transform, and aggregate data
- Manage performance tuning and cost optimisation in Snowflake
- Enforce governance, security, and access best practices
ETL / Data Integration
- Set up and maintain pipelines using tools like Fivetran, Airbyte, or similar
- Integrate data from marketing (Meta, Google, TikTok), CRM (e.g. HubSpot), payments (e.g. Stripe), and analytics tools
- Monitor and troubleshoot data consistency and pipeline issues
- Adapt to API changes and schema evolution
Data Modeling
- Build dimensional models including fact and dimension tables
- Create scalable models for marketing, finance, and sales metrics
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into data structures
- Ensure consistency of core business metrics across the organisation
Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Develop dashboards using tools like Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Build real-time and executive dashboards across marketing, sales, and customer analytics
- Maintain KPI definitions and perform ad hoc analysis as needed
Automation & Data Quality
- Automate reporting and data sync workflows
- Set up data quality checks and monitoring
- Maintain documentation of pipelines, models, and metrics
What You Bring
- 4–6+ years in a role such as Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, or Data Engineer
- Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Built and maintained production-grade Snowflake environments
- Designed high-performance schemas and queries
- Advanced SQL capabilities (e.g. CTEs, window functions, joins)
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines with modern tools
- Expertise in data modeling (star schemas, fact/dimension design)
- Familiarity with BI tools for dashboard development
- Strong understanding of business metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS, MRR, churn)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar CRM systems
- Scripting experience (Python or JavaScript)
- Familiarity with APIs, JSON handling, and version control (Git)
- Knowledge of dbt (data build tool)
- Experience in marketing analytics and attribution modeling
