The role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Growth Manager to lead commercial growth across Greater China. This role is suited to someone with a strong background in payments or fintech, alongside a consultative enterprise sales approach and the ability to build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding regional market presence, developing new commercial opportunities, and helping enterprise clients adopt cross-border payment solutions that support their growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver regional sales and business development strategies to support revenue growth and customer acquisition across Greater China.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with enterprise clients, partners, and key players in the local payments and fintech ecosystem.
  • Use market knowledge and existing industry connections to identify new opportunities and accelerate commercial traction.
  • Understand customer needs and position suitable payment and financial technology solutions in a clear, value-driven way.
  • Lead solution-based sales conversations, proposals, and presentations for prospective clients and partners.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and help drive deals through to successful close.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Product, Operations, Compliance, and Client Services to ensure a smooth customer journey.
  • Maintain visibility of pipeline activity, client feedback, competitor movements, and broader market developments within the region.

Candidate profile

  • Around 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or growth roles within payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Strong track record of selling complex solutions into enterprise clients.
  • Good understanding of cross-border payments, digital financial products, or related financial infrastructure solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of the regulatory and commercial landscape in China, particularly within payments and financial services.
  • Established network across relevant stakeholders such as merchants, payment providers, financial institutions, fintech platforms, or ecosystem partners.
  • Confident operating independently and driving commercial initiatives with a high degree of ownership.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent Mandarin and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Degree-qualified in Business, Finance, or a related discipline. Additional postgraduate study would be advantageous.
