Senior JavaScript Developer

Spectrum Search is on the lookout for a Senior or highly capable Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join a dynamic team working on a high-value global trading platform. This role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a large-scale project managed by a prestigious enterprise client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in full stack development activities for a cutting-edge global trading system, employing technologies such as TypeScript, React, SQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.
• Start with a blend of front-end and back-end tasks, transitioning to a more back-end focused role as project familiarity increases.
• Liaise directly with the client to clarify requirements, ensuring precise implementation of features.
• Play an integral part in the enhancement of automated testing and peer code reviews.
• Manage the deployment of features to staging and production environments, overseeing the full lifecycle of development.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years of professional programming experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with TypeScript or similar technologies.

Ability to work in a hybrid model, with a minimum of 2 days per week on-site in London.

Desirable:

• Prior exposure to functional programming or languages such as OCaml or Haskell is beneficial but not essential.
