The Role:
We are in search of a Senior Golang Engineer to play a pivotal role in the development and scaling of our client’s core infrastructure. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about creating robust, scalable systems and contributing to the future of Ethereum and blockchain technologies.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop the core software stack, focusing on consensus, execution layers, interoperability standards, and messaging protocols.
Implement and maintain node software and off-chain coordination agents to support a distributed network.
Ensure the security and flexibility of the interoperability standard to accommodate future innovations.
Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance the overall architecture and code quality.
Provide professional feedback to improve peer architecture design.
Actively contribute to open source projects and the broader crypto ecosystem.
Requirements:
3-7+ years in backend software engineering with a strong focus on Go.
Proven experience in developing a blockchain client/node in a production environment with significant assets at stake.
Demonstrable experience in architecting, deploying, and maintaining high-stakes production systems.
Proficient with cloud services (AWS, GCP, etc.) and modern software development practices.
Nice to Haves:
Experience with scaling infrastructure for distributed services.
Familiarity with distributed consensus mechanisms.
In-depth understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine.
