Key Responsibilities

As a Backend Developer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using TypeScript and Next.js, supported by Prisma, PostgreSQL, and KV databases.
• Deploy and manage services on Vercel, ensuring smooth operation across frontend and backend environments.
• Build subgraphs using AssemblyScript for indexing blockchain data with providers such as TheGraph.
• Develop and manage GraphQL queries that interact with blockchain-indexed data.
• Write, test, and deploy smart contracts using Solidity, leveraging frameworks like Hardhat and Foundry.
• Implement and optimize blockchain interactions using libraries such as ethers.js or viem.
• Lead the backend development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and efficient development workflows.
• Keep up with emerging trends and technologies in web3 and smart contract development.

Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Advanced experience with tools and technologies listed in the responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in web3 technologies, smart contract development, and blockchain infrastructure.
• A proven ability to lead development teams effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of Next.js, PostgreSQL, KV databases, and deployment with Vercel.

Bonus Skills

While not mandatory, the following skills are a big plus:

• Experience with ZKsync‘s native Account Abstraction (AA) technologies.
• Frontend development experience (especially with React).
• Familiarity with Swagger for API documentation.
