What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee real-time market-making strategies and production systems, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
• Conduct deep quantitative research on DeFi protocols, staying ahead of emerging trends and innovations in the industry.
• Monitor market conditions, regulatory changes, and industry news affecting DeFi assets and trading opportunities.
• Develop mathematical models and perform in-depth risk analysis to inform strategy development and execution.
• Continuously optimize and evaluate the performance of existing strategies, taking ownership of both profitability and risk management.
• Collaborate closely with other quants, traders, and engineers to innovate and refine trading methodologies.

What We’re Looking For

• Educational background: Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Crypto expertise: A strong understanding of blockchain technology, DeFi protocols, and the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem.
• Market knowledge: Solid experience with financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management.
• Programming skills: Proficiency in Python, R, C++, or similar languages for implementing statistical models and trading algorithms.
• Problem-solving mindset: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative settings.
• Strategic thinker: Ability to think critically, innovate, and take a long-term perspective on trading opportunities.
• Experience in DeFi: Prior experience with cryptocurrency or DeFi trading is a significant advantage.
