Investment Lead

Your Role

As the Investment Lead, you’ll take ownership of the investment process, from identifying promising projects to overseeing funding decisions. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving the company’s vision of fostering innovative blockchain projects by engaging directly with creators, builders, and thought leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Investment Leadership: Oversee the entire investment pipeline, ensuring only the most promising projects advance through the process.
• Due Diligence & Evaluation: Conduct in-depth evaluations of projects, including analysing applications, reviewing financials and decks, and assessing social/community engagement. Your recommendations will drive funding decisions.
• Builder & Founder Engagement: Actively connect with project leaders—founders, CEOs, and creators—ensuring alignment with the company’s ecosystem goals while offering support and guidance throughout the process.
• Pipeline Optimisation: Maintain and refine the investment tracker as the single source of truth for reviewing and prioritising opportunities.
• Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to align investment strategies with broader organisational objectives and provide support on ad-hoc projects as needed.

About You

• Web3 Enthusiast: You have a genuine passion for blockchain, NFTs, and decentralisation. You’re deeply knowledgeable about the culture, trends, and communities driving Web3 innovation.
• Investment Expertise: Experience in venture capital or investment roles is strongly preferred, especially in the crypto or blockchain sector.
• Decision-Maker: With an analytical mindset, you can quickly assess a project’s potential and make sound recommendations underpinned by data and market insights.
