Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forward Deployed Engineer with expertise in firmware. This fully remote position includes occasional travel and involves a mix of hands-on technical work and customer interaction. You will report directly to the Firmware Team Lead and play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of the company’s firmware products across client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients, ensuring timely and professional resolution of issues.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on firmware installation, features, and troubleshooting processes.
• Use APIs to deliver custom technical solutions tailored to client specifications.
• Deploy, configure, and optimize firmware solutions across client hardware fleets.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
• Conduct firmware installations and optimize performance remotely or during on-site visits as required.

What We’re Looking For

• A strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to bridge the gap between external client needs and internal engineering/product teams.
• Solid expertise in firmware technologies and their practical application.
• Proficiency in Python, bash scripting, and Linux terminal operations.
• Hands-on experience with VPN configuration for remote deployments.
• Knowledge and experience with Bitcoin mining hardware, particularly ASICs, and related troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving and project management.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential.

Preferred Location & Timezone
The ideal candidate will reside in China or within the GMT+5 to GMT+9 time zones.
