Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day finance operations including management accounting and bookkeeping, supported by administrative staff.
Collaborate closely with the leadership team for budgeting and monthly financial reporting against the budget.
Align financial strategies with business objectives through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial ledgers and regulatory reporting, including VAT returns.
Coordinate and manage external audits, including preparation and response to auditor inquiries.
Provide regular and ad-hoc financial reports and analyses to the management committee and board.
Develop and implement robust internal processes and controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Experience in the crypto, digital assets, or blockchain industry.
Proven expertise as a finance controller, preferably in a startup environment.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial processes and systems.
