Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. This role involves a combination of DevOps and security expertise to ensure that our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines are both highly scalable and secure. Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and enhance codebases for cloud infrastructure management.
  • Design, develop, and manage secure CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
  • Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure in line with security best practices.
  • Set up and manage VPNs, ideally leveraging WireGuard.
  • Oversee the observability stack, ensuring system health using tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, Loki, and Mimir.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and uptime of a suite of cloud-based applications.
  • Maintain and scale Kubernetes infrastructure with zero downtime.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and provide ongoing operational support.
  • Contribute to contingency planning, including developing robust backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Collaborate on end-to-end software development cycles, from design and feasibility analysis to testing, deployment, and production.
  • Uphold high code quality standards for maintainable and secure software.
  • Document internal processes, system designs, and other relevant technical materials.

Requirements

  • Highly desirable: Experience implementing SOC 2 compliance frameworks.
  • Expertise with IAM, IDP, and SSO solutions for secure authentication and authorization.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in engineering, DevOps, or security-focused roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing and scaling Kubernetes-based applications on cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in AWS services and architecture.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps principles, including GitOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and building services with TypeScript and Go.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and self-management capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment with a distributed team.
