Delivering high quality software engineers for Vix Technology.

The Challenge

Vix Technology were struggling to find talent within the local market, as the candidates had to be based in Rome, working onsite 5 days a week. This was at a time when the market was beginning to shift towards a more hybrid model. They had been working with some local agencies but unfortunately were unable to deliver a number of quality candidates within certain time constraints. This led to project delays which were causing issues with their end clients.

The Solution

Whilst this was a new location for us, we were confident that we could deliver on the contractors they needed and within a reasonable time period. Working to an exclusive agreement, we began researching and scouting the market for local talent, using our local network & communities, search engines (LinkedIn, Job boards) and our AI search platform.

Our approach was simple, and that was to fully invest ourself into the project and the business, so that we could properly sell the project that the candidates would be involved in. This let to higher candidate engagement and built a buzz around the project.

The Outcome

The client was able to quickly gain the manpower required needed to service their clients. It took us under 6 weeks from initial search to fulfilling all placements. The candidate quality meant they were extended and some hired on a permanent contract.

The Summary

  • Candidates resourced, interviewed and on site within 6 weeks
  • Built out the Software Development and Engineering team from 0 – 7
  • Candidate quality, 90% of the contractors had over 4 extensions

Spectrum Search were excellent to work with and were able to deliver on time, within a tough market. They were thorough and detailed in their approach and really took the time to invest themselves into Vix Technology. Both Craig and Aaron were a pleasure to work with and I look forward to a continued partnership with them in the future
