Senior Business Development Manager (Web3 & Privacy Tech)

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive strategic partnerships and market expansion in the Web3 space. This role is ideal for someone passionate about privacy-preserving technologies like FHE, MPC, and ZK, with experience in blockchain ecosystems and decentralized applications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and establish collaborations that enhance our platform’s privacy and security capabilities, particularly in FHE, MPC, and ZK technologies.
  • Market Expansion: Research and enter new markets where privacy solutions can provide a competitive edge.
  • Developer Ecosystem Growth: Engage with and grow a network of developers around privacy-focused blockchain applications.
  • Ecosystem Integration: Work with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of partner solutions.
  • Industry Advocacy: Represent the company at Web3 events, educating stakeholders on the benefits of privacy-preserving technologies.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Navigate compliance and regulatory landscapes to ensure partnerships align with privacy laws and industry standards.

 

Requirements:

 

Experience:

  • 3-5+ years in business development, preferably in Web3, blockchain, or crypto sectors.
  • Proven success in securing partnerships with blockchain projects, DeFi platforms, or Web3 companies.

 

Technical Understanding:

  • Strong grasp of blockchain technology, including smart contracts, tokenomics, and dApps.
  • Familiarity with major blockchain protocols (Ethereum, NEAR, Solana, Polygon, etc.) and various consensus mechanisms.
  • Understanding of privacy-preserving technologies such as FHE, MPC, and ZK.

 

Networking & Relationship Management:

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with developers, founders, and key industry players.
  • Experience engaging with developer communities and fostering ecosystem growth.

 

Strategic Thinking & Execution:

  • Ability to develop and execute business development strategies that align with company goals.
  • Strong market research skills to identify trends and competitive opportunities in Web3.

 

Deal Structuring & Negotiation:

  • Proven ability to structure and close deals, including partnership agreements, integrations, and investment opportunities.
  • Understanding of token economics, equity structures, and revenue-sharing models in blockchain contexts.

 

Communication & Advocacy:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business opportunities.
  • Experience presenting at industry events and engaging in thought leadership.

 

Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of regulatory environments related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
  • Understanding of Web3 protocols, APIs, and integrations.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving industry where adaptability is key.
