Business Development Manager – Institutional Liquidity Sales
Spectrum Search is excited to partner with a leading global provider of liquidity and technology solutions for multi-asset, multi-market trading. We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive new business acquisition and expand institutional client relationships in the FX, metals, energy, indices, and crypto sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • New Client Acquisition:
    • Identify and secure institutional clients through cold calling, networking, and leveraging industry contacts.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed ambitious targets.
    • Close high-value deals and ensure seamless onboarding and revenue generation.
  • Lead Generation:
    • Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads using advanced sales techniques.
    • Convert cold leads into long-term, profitable relationships.
  • Industry Representation:
    • Represent the company at global conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
    • Expand professional networks with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Introducing Brokers Recruitment:
    • Identify and partner with high-performing Introducing Brokers (IBs).
    • Create incentive programs to grow the IB network and increase revenue streams.
  • Market Insights:
    • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
    • Provide strategic insights to refine offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Reporting:
    • Track sales activities and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
    • Report performance metrics and provide market feedback.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of direct sales experience in the FX industry, specifically in institutional liquidity sales.
  • Proven track record of closing large-scale deals and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong existing network of institutional clients, including banks, hedge funds, and proprietary trading firms.
  • Expertise in FX liquidity, trading platforms, and market dynamics.
  • Experience working with and expanding Introducing Broker networks.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Fluent English (C1); additional languages are a plus.
