This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong background in decentralised governance, multi-stakeholder coordination, and experience in facilitating collaboration in DAO environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide the DAO in creating efficient governance processes and tools to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Provide strategic guidance on key issues, such as resource management, to assist the DAO in making informed decisions.
  • Build a network of expert advisors across relevant areas and connect them with the DAO to support successful project execution.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for DAO delegates, contributors, and service providers, facilitating communication between the DAO, the foundation, and other emerging DAO-governed organisations.
  • Work with community teams to establish onboarding processes that engage and retain DAO participants while aligning with the foundationโ€™s and DAOโ€™s objectives.
  • Partner with research and education teams to deliver training resources and upskill DAO members on governance processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Maintain open feedback channels to ensure DAO members are supported and informed, encouraging them to take ownership of governance activities.
  • Manage detailed governance documentation to ensure the community is well-informed and aligned with DAO activities.
  • Monitor the lifecycle of DAO proposals, ensuring they comply with governance protocols and supporting adherence to timelines and agreements.
  • Mediate disputes and enforce agreements to maintain trust and integrity within the DAO governance framework.
  • Lead initiatives to attract new contributors, developers, and community members to the DAO, building a sustainable governance model.
  • Collaborate with marketing and ecosystem growth teams to promote DAO initiatives through social channels and events, increasing visibility and impact.
  • Partner with other DAO-governed organisations to uphold high standards of transparency and accountability across the ecosystem.
  • Report progress and milestones to the foundation, ensuring transparency and alignment between the foundation and the DAO.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in DAO governance, decentralised community management, or a similar role in blockchain or Web3.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience using DAO governance tools such as Snapshot or Tally to support operations.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Knowledge of Ethereum, Layer 2 scaling solutions, and DAO structures is highly desirable.
  • Recognised as a respected leader within the blockchain and Web3 communities, with an extensive professional network.
